Thanks for a fantastic experience! I had a ball. I particularly want to thank the guides who made the mechanics of the trip easy as pie. And who made me feel safe and capable. (And are great cooks.) You folks run a great operation, making this kind of natural adventure fun and accessible. I've already recommended you to a complete stranger on the plane home."

Paddle and Saddle Adventure
Maximum fun in one action-packed day! In the morning, run the Racecourse section of the legendary Rio Grande, with its many Class 3 rapids (Class 4 in high water; see Racecourse page for further details), followed by a hearty deli-style lunch. Then choose to go riding at the famous Taos Indian Horse Ranch, on the Taos Pueblo reservation; or in the alpine terrain of Taos Ski Valley; or along the secluded trails in the shelter of the Rio Grande Gorge. You'll ride on well-trained horses through the pinon and juniper, on trails that may be visible only to your guide. You may see elk, deer, and other wildlife in this wild country, with incredible vistas stretching away toward the sunset.
No experience necessary for either rafting or riding. Horses are available to suit all levels of ability.
