How to Find Us

Our trips have different meeting points. All are indicated in the e-mail you receive once you book your rafting adventure.  Please be sure you go to the correct meeting point for your trip! On Rio Chama trips, the meeting point may vary according to whatever is most convenient for our clients.

Please do not rely on GPS!  It is often inaccurate in northern New Mexico. Follow the link in the email or the directions below.

Meeting time: It is very important that you are ready to go at your assigned meeting time. The federal government closely regulates the times we are allowed to launch. A late charge of $10 per person will apply if you are more than ten minutes late. After that, the trip may leave without you.

Transportation to the river and back: You will be transported from the meeting point to the river and back again in a Los Rios vehicle. Please do not leave any valuables in your car or in our vehicle as we cannot be responsible for security.

How to Get to Taos

The nearest major airport to Taos is Albuquerque, approximately two and a half hours drive away. There is also a small airport in Santa Fe, with direct flights from Dallas, Denver and Phoenix. You can rent a car at either airport or take the Twin Hearts Express shuttle to Taos, which leaves at regular intervals throughout the day (575-751-1201).

If you are driving from Albuquerque, take I-25 to Santa Fe, then Veterans Highway 599 signposted Espanola and Los Alamos, then Highway 84/285 to Espanola, where you carry straight on Hwy 68 to Taos (see above).
